About Your Egg: Sizing, Drilling & What to Know
 
These are the drilled nephrite jade pleasure eggs I personally use and trust in my own practice.
 
If you’re joining an Awakening Inner Pleasure workshop and already have a drilled pleasure (yoni) egg, wonderful—you do not need to purchase another one to participate.
 
If you don’t yet have one, you can choose your egg here and have it shipped directly to you.
 
The nephrite jade is sourced from the mountainous regions of Mongolia. My supplier keeps a certificate of authenticity on file for the source and provides documentation with the eggs. Each piece is physically and energetically cleansed, finished with a final hand polish, and individually inspected before being offered for sale.
 
What size should I choose?
 
In the progression I teach, we begin with either a large or medium egg and gradually work toward smaller sizes as the practice develops.
 
My general starting guideline is:
 
If you’ve had a vaginal birth, begin with a large.
If you haven’t had a vaginal birth, begin with a medium.
 
I personally started with a medium, since I had a C-section and did not have a vaginal birth.
 
The small egg is the most advanced size in this practice. Some women eventually enjoy owning a full set—large, medium, and small—while others begin with a single egg and purchase their next size when they’re ready.
 
Either is completely fine.
 
Why a drilled egg?
 
For Awakening Inner Pleasure, we use a string with the egg as part of our practice. These eggs are drilled with two tiny holes so that a string can be threaded through the egg.
 
For string, you can use plain dental floss or silk string. I’ve happily used dental floss for years :). If you prefer silk, you can find the silk string I recommend here.
